Many of our bowler members are very active in playing competitive games, including those organized by the CHKLBA and other local clubs. Through these competitions, they gain valuable experiences and meet more bowler friends outside CCC. Earlier in March, exciting news came in that five of our high-standing bowlers, namely Cynthia Chan, Alex Ng, Fred Lam, Angel So and Anthony So, earned admirable results in open competitions. They competed in pairs and in four respectively in a mixed rinks tournament hosted by HKFC – International Lawn Bowls Open 2025 and National Indoor Pairs Competition organized by the CHKLBA. While they only came close to clinching a title, they had advanced far enough to quarterfinal and semifinals, which is no small feat given the large number of elite bowlers participating.
